According to recent reports coming from the Emirates, Arsenal are now interested in signing Manchester City star Bernardo Silva.
Silva has been linked with a move away from the club for some time now, with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid being the frontrunners to sign him.

However, with Barcelona going through financial problems, the Portuguese might not be able to secure a move to the Catalonian club.
Meanwhile, at Arsenal Mikel Arteta is eager to improve his midfield and add a creative playmaker to it. Arsenal have been lacking a creative midfielder, even since Mesut Ozil was forced out of the club. Even though they have academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe, who recently signed a new deal and was given the number 10 jersey, they still need someone with more experience to create chances.
Bernardo Silva fits perfectly in this role. Known for his ball-playing skills, he would be the perfect addition to Arsenal’s squad. His versatility is also an important part of his game, hence making him a more enticing option for the London outfit.
The Portuguese has been a brilliant player for Manchester City in the past few seasons, but now with Jack Grealish reportedly joining the club, he may see a further reduction in his playing time.
However, the Portuguese’s 150 thousand pounds per week wage may turn out to be an issue for Arsenal, unless they are able to offload players like Lacazette.
Barcelona seems a more likely move for the Portuguese, though. With the chance of being closer to his family and also playing in the Champions League next season, two things he would for sure not get if he joined Arsenal this summer.
Which move do you think suits Bernardo Silva better? Barcelona or Arsenal? Or do you think the Portuguese should stay at Manchester City and fight for a place in the squad against the likes of Jack Grealish and Phil Foden?
