Currently, the Portuguese midfielder is away at Euros representing his national side. The talented midfielder will be in contention to start against Hungary on Tuesday. Will Manchester City lose Bernardo Silva?
There has been no official statement by the player on whether he wants to leave the Sky Blues this summer.
Officially, the midfielder has not yet submitted a transfer request to his present employers which means that this proposed deal might not take place at the moment.
However, the situation might change after the conclusion of Euro 2020. If Silva decides to leave the club this summer, then it will be tough to stop the player from leaving the Etihad.
Atletico Madrid have reportedly lined up a swap deal for the Portuguese as they are willing to include Saul Niguez in this proposed exchange. Barcelona, on the other hand, are looking to pay in cash for the services of the star midfielder and hence will have to shell a transfer fee north of 60 million pounds.
