Manchester City’s star Belgian midfielder scored three goals and provided four assists this month, with his incredible form proving to be immune from his team’s inconsistency so far this season. The festive period of fixtures provided serious competition for the award with the increased number of games, but De Bruyne was the standout for the Citizens this month without a doubt.
Alexander-Arnold looks to be De Bruyne’s primary rival for the award, as Liverpool picked up five wins and four clean sheets while the English fullback had three assists and a goal personally.
