Pep Guardiola and Manchester City know who they will square off against for its U.S. summer friendlies.
One of these matches will feature a Manchester derby. Yes, City will take on those Manchester United ingrates on July 20 according to BBC Sport. The Sun notes the venue for the battle royale between the bitter rivals is still to be selected.

Hopefully a more rainfall-resistant stadium will be chosen to host the first international Manchester derby. The meeting scheduled last summer at Beijing’s Bird Nest suffered a washout.
But the intriguing fixtures for City’s U.S. tour don’t end with Jose Mourinho’s crinkled eyebrows.
BBC Sport reports the Sky Blues are to play La Liga giants Real Madrid on July 29 in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. It’s a glamorous venue for both City’s and Real’s stars to take the pitch in an exhibition under the So-Cal summer sun.
After Real, according to BBC Sport, Guardiola’s squad will travel east to Nashville, in the heart of the country, to take on Tottenham Hotspur on July 29.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side has proven formidable of late against City. In the last four Premier League meetings between the clubs, City have lost three times, most recently forfeiting a two-goal second half lead at the Etihad to Spurs for a frustrating draw.

So it’s a good tuneup before the City and Spurs cross swords for meaningful points in next year’s ensuing campaign.
All of these fixtures are a part of the 2017 International Champions Cup. The other clubs filling out the field include Juventus, AS Roma, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.

I know, I know — these only are preseason friendlies. Still, I can’t help but get a little excited. After all, barring an epic collapse from Chelsea and Spurs, City won’t win the EPL crown this year. Monaco bounced City out of the UEFA Champions League last week. Outside of the FA Cup, there isn’t much to play for in the next couple months.
So why not look forward to future and some dates for summer football?
