Real Madrid set to ruin Manchester City’s striker plans

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola may be faced with another striker issue if Real Madrid decide to act on their interests in a certain player. It is believed, via recent reports, that Real Madrid have approached this player four times before and his recent performances for club and country may push them to make another bid.
The player in question is Manchester City’s Ferran Torress.
The failure to sign Tottenham’s Harry Kane and the departure of Sergio Aguero to Barcelona has left, Torres as one of the only two options, with Gabriel Jesus, that manager Guardiola can call on to play as a proper striker or a number nine this season.
Guardiola has tried out a number of other options in the striker’s false nine position this season including Gabriel Jesus, Jack Grealish, Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez, but Torres has looked the most comfortable out of all them.
His finishing is also a key reason why Guardiola sees him as the best options upfront, and this was on full display again during this week’s UEFA Nations League games.
According to Spanish news outlet, AS, Manchester City’s Spanish star is once again in Real Madrid’s crosshairs, even though he has rejected them four times before.
The latest approach came last season when it became apparent Torres would leave Valencia. Real Madrid thought Torres would be at the Mestalla for a year and then leave the club once he is a free agent, but the 21-year old decided to sign up for Manchester City for a deal worth only around 21 million pounds.
According to the same report, it is only a matter of time before Ferran Torres gets another offer from the Galacticos.
What do you think Torres should do? Should he leave the Etihad if he gets a good enough offer from Real Madrid or should he stay? Do you think Pep Guardiola should let him go if he is able to sign another striker?
