According to recent reports, Manchester City are looking to sign superstar Mexican forward Raul Jiminez from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Man City are ready to fight with Juventus, who are also keeping an eye on the Mexican.

In the defeat against PSG, City’s lack of striker was evident and many thought that if a genuine number was present on the field, things could have been different for the Sky Blues.

Following this, Manchester City are now linked with Raul Jiminez, one of the most prolific strikers in recent years in the premier league. Jiminez had a horrific injury last season, which sidelined him for the rest of last season. After his comeback, Jiminez has been getting into good positions, however has only scored one goal so far this season.

According to Juve FC, Manchester City are ready to compete with Italian giants Juventus who also want to sign the 30-year old. City had previously had labeled Raul as a “back-up” to Harry Kane and now that they have not been able to land him, it looks more and more likely that they will try for Jiminez again.

Jiminez has proven himself in the league in recent years and has what it takes to succeed in the harsh premier league. Under Pep Guardiola, the Mexican can reach even bigger heights and become an even more threatening striker. At the age of 30 years, however, he does not look like a long-term option for City.

Other options that have emerged as alternatives for Manchester City include Victor OsimhenAmine Gouiri, Erling HaalandKylian Mbappe, Mikel Oyarzabal, Piere-Emrick Aubameyang, and even Benjamin Sesko.

What do you think Manchester City should do? Should they sign Raul Jiminez from Wolves or should they wait for someone like Erling Haaland? Do tell any strikers you have in mind that Pep Guardiola should sign.
