According to the Daily Telegraph, Manchester City will attempt one last time to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. They are believed to make one final bid to tempt the north London club to sell their biggest asset this summer.
After losing the season opener to Tottenham, the Sky Blues responded in a strong fashion by thrashing newly-promoted Norwich City 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday. Jack Grealish was off the mark for Manchester City, who despite being light on options upfront, though were simply too good for the Canaries.

Yet, Pep Guardiola wants to replace the departed Sergio Aguero with Harry Kane in this transfer window. The England skipper, 28, made his first appearance of the season over the weekend, coming off the bench in Spurs’ 1-0 away victory at Wolves.
Kane has seemingly made his intentions clear of his desire to leave his boyhood club this summer in pursuit of trophies, which has eluded him so far in his career.
The Daily Telegraph claims Manchester City remain interested in the 28-year-old striker but it would take more than a staggering £150million to lure him away from north London.
The report adds Spurs chief Daniel Levy, who is a notoriously tough negotiator, would only consider selling Kane if he receives a bid of around £150m, although he remains against the idea of selling his prized asset to a Premier League rival.
The Sky Blues made a statement signing before the start of the season, smashing the British transfer fee record by activating Jack Grealish’s £100m release clause to purchase him from Aston Villa. Thus, it would take the Cityzens to break the transfer fee record twice in the same summer to sign Kane.
Kane has entered the prime stages of his career and Spurs are right in their terms to value their striker very highly. Considering the fact that he has three years left in his contract, the Sky Blues will have to fulfill Levy’s demands to help Guardiola get his summer’s top target. Time is running out, though!
