According to recent reports from Portuguese journalist Pedro Almedia, Bayern Munich have joined the race to sign Manchester City’s midfielder Bernardo Silva.
Silva has been linked with a move away from the club since last summer window, where he was very close to joining Barcelona.

Manchester City’s recent purchase of Jack Grealish has added fuel to the fire, making it more certain that an exit for Silva this summer is on the cards. Pep Guardiola also confirmed this in an interview after the community shield game.
He said that a few players are interested in leaving the club in the ongoing summer transfer window and Silva is one of them.
He has been linked with Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal this window already. However all of these clubs including Bayern Munich will have to offload a few players before they are able to finance a move for the Portugese.
Manchester City are reportedly asking for a fee in the range of 50 million pounds for the 27 year old. Pep Guardiola is also reportedly pushing to include Silva in a swap plus cash deal to land Harry Kane.
This move does make a lot of sense for Bayern Munich, since they are looking for a midfielder to deputise the duties of Leon Goretza and Joshua Kimmich to. But does Bernardo Silva fit into that category?
Also are Bayern willing to spend 50 million on a player, after declaring that they will not sign any big money players in the recent future.
Also it is worth considering that the news does not come from the most reliable source, as the same journalist also said that Marcel Sabitzer had a agreed a deal with Bayern Munich but that turned out to be false.
Do you think a move to Bayern Munich, if it happens, will be good for Bernanrdo Silva? Or do you think he should move to a club which guarantees him a position in the starting eleven?
