Manchester City willing to include Portuguese star in a cash plus player deal for Kane
By Zoheb Alam
Manchester City are still working to seal a move for Tottenham’s Harry Kane but unfortunately have not struck a deal for the reputed forward. To acquire the Englishman, the Cityzens have been told to meet the valuation of the player which currently stands at a whopping 150 million pounds.
But the situation at the Etihad could soon change in the next few days as fresh reports by The Daily Mail have claimed that City will consider a swap deal for Kane. The report further stated that the club will include Bernardo Silva as a possible candidate in this part-exchange deal.
This supposed swap deal might be the only chance for the Sky Blues to sign one of their ‘highly prioritised’ targets. Should Tottenham decide to take part in this part-exchange deal for their talisman, chances are that City could manage to plummet the asking price of the forward.
On the other hand, the decision to let go of Bernardo Silva should not come as a surprise to the fans as recently Guardiola revealed that the Portuguese star was open to the idea of leaving the Etihad this summer. The Spaniard boss had also said :
"Not just Bernardo, there are two, three or four players that want to leave."
Besides Silva, his other City teammates like Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus also have been tipped to leave in this ongoing summer window. It remains to be seen whether any of these forwards are included in this potential swap deal for Harry Kane.

As of now, it seems that Manchester City are only intended to include the Portuguese midfielder in a part-exchange deal for Kane. The club’s latest signing Jack Grealish could well become a good reason for Silva to part ways with his current employers.
It is also important to remember that Arsenal, too, have shown interest in the wantaway midfielder. Hence, the Sky Blues will have to decide whether they would sell their star midfielder to the Gunners or would rather include him in a potential swap for Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
