Manchester City are making big moves in the transfer market and the club have reportedly made a record-breaking £100million bid for Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish.
That’s according to the latest report from the Telegraph as the Cityzens hope to finalize a deal for one of their long-term targets. Pep Guardiola has been keen to land the England international, and the report suggests that City have now made Jack their number one target.
This comes after suffering setbacks in their chase of Harry Kane, however, the club remains hopeful of striking a deal with Aston Villa in the next few days.

Manchester City go out all guns blazing to land Jack Grealish with a £100million bid
After starring for England in the Euro 2020, Grealish is expected to return to training with Aston Villa next Monday, however, City are pushing to wrap up a deal for the 25-year-old as soon as possible.
For their part, Aston Villa were hoping to keep hold of their skipper, who contributed 7 goals and twelve assists across all competitions last term. They even offered Jack a new contract, that would have vastly improved his current salary of around £125,000 a week.
However, the latest offer from City could be too good to turn down, as the Cityzens hope to eclipse Manchester United’s £89 million capture of Paul Pogba.
If their bid is accepted, Pep Guardiola’s side would smash the Premier League transfer record by some distance. The report from Telegraph also adds that Manchester City, Jack Grealish’s agent, and Aston Villa are yet to comment on the latest developments.
Earlier, it was suggested that both Man City and Villa were in direct contact, and it was also evident that if Jack Grealish would move to the Etihad, it would require a record-breaking bid from the Cityzens, and they’ve made their first move, the ball is in Aston Villa’s court now.
