Manchester City can sell some of their star members in this ongoing summer window as they look to gather funds for two of their highly speculated transfer targets-Harry Kane and Jack Grealish.

Besides the English duo, the club is also yet to take a call on some of its star members. In the past couple of months, players like Aymeric Laporte, Gabriel Jesus, and Raheem Sterling have all been linked with a move away from the Etihad this summer.

Rumour mills suggest that City’s no.7 could soon move to Spain this summer. Reports from Tot Costa have revealed that Barcelona are interested to recruit Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling in the ongoing summer window.

The Blaugrana outfit has already managed to add some top names to their squad since the start of the summer window. Top names like Eric Garcia, Georgionio Wijnaldum, Sergio Aguero, and Memphis Depay have all made their way to Camp Nou before the start of the upcoming season.

Laporta’s quest to add more quality to his team’s final third could see him sign one of the best attackers of the Premier League. But at the same time, it will be extremely difficult for the Catalan side to simply add one more star to their wage bill given the situation of their present financial struggles.

On the other hand, the Sky Blues are yet to speak out on the future of  Sterling. The 26-year-old winger, too, has been skeptical about his immediate future with the club and hence is being backed to leave the Etihad this summer.

Despite some superb outings in the recent European Championships, the English international has somehow failed to convince his employers to retain him ahead of the new season.

The Premier League champions are set to start their season with the FA Community Shield Final against Leicester City next month. Setting aside all speculations, the fans would love to see the English superstar back wearing the City shirt this season. There is a big possibility that the Sky Blues would keep him for another season before taking a call in the summer of 2022.
