The 25-year old will enter the 12 months of this contract soon and hence has become a very lucrative target for clubs looking for a talented attacker. Manchester City are not the only club interested in the French international. Liverpool and Chelsea are also said to be heavily linked with him.
Chelsea are even willing to offer Callum Hudson-Odoi to get Kingsley Coman to sign a deal with them.
According to L’Equipe, via City extra, Coman and Bayern Munich have hit a dead end in their contract negotiations. The attacker wants 18 million Euros per year in wages, in parity with former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, but Bayern are willing to go up to only 13 million Euros.
Manchester City are keen to add another attacker, with a striker, to their squad this season. Jack Grealish was supposed to be that attacker, but with recent news coming in the Aston Villa captain will most likely sign a new deal with his boyhood club the move is looking unlikely.
With City already looking to spend in excess of 100 million to bring England captain Harry Kane to the Etihad, if they are able to sign Kingsley Coman on a cheap it could be a brilliant move for them.
The player has played under Pep Guardiola before and will not have a problem adapting to his style of play.
If Pep Guardiola is able to land Kingsley Coman on a cheap deal, do you think the player will excel at the club? Or do you think the blues should continue chasing Jack Grealish, no matter what it takes?
