Manchester City have been tipped to sign a striker this summer as the Cityzens continue to cope with the departure of their club legend and record goal-scorer in Sergio Aguero.

As it stands, City have got only one striker in their ranks in Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian has also been tipped with a move away from Manchester this summer as he does not seem to fit into Pep Guardiola’s plans for the future.

More from Man City Transfer Rumors

Harry Kane has been constantly linked with a move to the Etihad stadium after another disappointing and trophyless season at Spurs. Despite Kane enjoying his best statistical season with 23 goals and 14 assists from 35 Premier League appearances, Spurs failed to secure silverware yet again.

Harry Kane’s current priority is to win silverware and despite him not submitting an official transfer request, numerous reports emerged from the White Hart Lane claiming that Kane wants to leave the North London club.

Tottenham’s managerial hunt recently came to an end when they appointed Nuno Espirito Santo as their new boss and that is likely to tempt Harry Kane into not forcing his way out of the club.

Having said that, it was always going to be difficult to convince Tottnehman chairman Daniel Levy to part ways with his star man. Levy has slapped a £150 million price tag on Harry Kane to ward off any potential suitors and even City are not in a position to pay £150 million for the Englishman.

Consequently, City have been linked with other big names and one of the names is Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from the Camp Nou in the past week as Barcelona need to offload a few players before they can register their new signings, including that of Lionel Messi.

In the light of that, MEN understands that City are not interested in signing the 30-year-old from Barcelona and have made it clear to the former La Liga champions.

The Cityzens have made it clear that they are not interested to sign Griezmann and have no intentions to enter into any swap deals with the Spanish giants.

Previously, several City stars in Bernardo Silva, Aymeric Laporte, Gabriel Jesus, and Ilkay Gundogan were linked with Barcelona, with all of them expected to be part of swap deals.

With Antoine Griezmann off the table, who do you think with Manchester City sign to replace Sergio Aguero?
