Manchester City striker set for a Bundesliga switch this summer
Manchester City’s hunt for a new striker has not yet reached a conclusion as the Premier League champions are hopeful of signing Harry Kane this summer but remain aware of the possibility that there are very good chances that Spurs might not sell him this summer.
There are currently two strikers at Manchester City; Gabriel Jesus and Lukas Nmecha.

Jesus has been at the club since 2017 but has failed to establish himself as one of the go-to men of Pep Guardiola and last season it was evident. Sergio Aguero was injured for the most part of the season and despite having a fully-fit Jesus in the ranks, Pep Guardiola chose to play with a false 9 and hardly used a proper striker in his games.
The Brazilian was hardly used in the big games and it is unlikely that it is going to change next season.
Next up is the curious case of Lukas Nmecha. The 22-year-old remains as a fine prospect but is yet to break into the Manchester City first team and Sacha Tavolieri on Twitter has reported that he could be on his way to join RB Leipzig this summer.
Nmecha enjoyed a successful loan spell at RSC Anderlecht last season, registering 21 goals and three assists in 41 appearances.
Manchester City are said to be unwilling to look within their ranks to fill the void left by Sergio Aguero and that could well be the end of the road at the Etihad stadium for Lukas Nmecha.
RB Leipzig are said to be interested in signing the 22-year-old and it is understood that a sum of €10-12 million would be enough to convince City to sell their prospect.
Manchester City continue to be linked with Jack Grealish and Harry Kane and the Cityzens are looking to raise funds by selling fringe players.
