Manchester City’s UCL hopes for the next season are rocked
Manchester City have been on the hunt for a quality striker, one capable of emulating Sergio Aguero’s feats at Manchester City and leading the City attack come next season. Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, and Romelu Lukaku are the names that have often sprung up in the City-striker discussion.
Harry Kane is set to cost around £150 million for the Premier League champions and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is not said to be in favor of selling his most prized asset, let alone selling Kane to an immediate rival. City are reportedly unwilling to spend as much as £150 million who is set to turn 28 next month and also due to the fact that the Englishman has battled recurrent ankle injuries in the last two years.

Romelu Lukaku has reiterated the fact that he is happy at Inter Milan and the Nerazzurri have no intentions of selling their leading goal-scorer of the last season.
Erling Haaland, 20, is one of the hottest prospects in Europe and the Dortmund striker has been linked with a move to Manchester City this summer. Though it is very unlikely that Dortmund would sell both, Sancho and Haaland in the same transfer window, a new report coming in from Metro, Real Madrid are said to be preparing a bid worth £112 million for the Norwegian striker and the Los Blancos feel that the former Bundesliga champions are likely to accept the bid this summer.
Haaland has got some impressive numbers to back his case up as the 20-year-old has notched up 57 goals from 59 games, making him one for the future.
Haaland is said to be in favor of a stint at Real Madrid and the 20-year-old could be headed in another direction, to Spain.
There are three Premier League clubs in the race for Haaland’s signature. Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea are said to be the clubs in England who want to sign the 20-year-old but the three teams are close to getting knocked out from the race to the 20-year-old’s signature, whose heart is now set on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
