Manchester City set to take revenge on Chelsea by snatching key transfer target
Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a move back to the Premier League this summer. Manchester City has been named the next probable destination for the former Chelsea and Manchester United striker.
Lukaku has enjoyed golden form ever since he made the move to Serie A with the Belgian striker. The 28-year-old has notched up 47 goals and 13 assists from 72 games, playing for Inter Milan.
The former Chelsea man has arguably had the best season of his career this year and he will likely look to move this summer, given the fact that Antonio Conte has left Inter Milan.

Todofichajes understands that City are closer to the Belgian target than Chelsea and are the favorites to land the 28-year-old this summer.
It is understood that the Nerrazzuri highly value him but need to balance their records following the financial losses sustained due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Having said that, a bid of £80 million should be enough to convince the Serie A champions to part ways with their top scorer.
While Lukaku’s partner in Lautaro Martinez is still very young, Inter will place their bet on him to lead the line in the future.
It is possible that Lukaku is upset with the treatment of his former boss in Conte by the higher-ups in Inter Milan. Lukaku has high respect and admiration for Conte and could well follow in his footsteps this summer.
While City have been linked with Harry Kane as well, Kane is expected to cost around £150 million with no guarantee that Tottenham would sell their record-goal scorer even if an offer is presented with them.
Manchester City are said to be heavily interested in Kane and the Englishman could be their priority target this summer as the Cityzens’ top scorer in Aguero has officially played his last game for the Sky Blues.
Do you want to see Harry Kane at Manchester City or should City go for Lukaku this summer?
