Manchester City are set to lose out on a gem of a striker in Sergio Aguero this summer but the Cityzens are eyeing to land a very able replacement for the 32-year-old.

Harry Kane has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium in recent times and more so, ever since reports emerged from the White Hart Lane suggesting that the Englishman is eager to explore other ventures.

Kane, 27, is desperate for silverware and believes that his chances of winning team trophies will be boosted if he moves out of Tottenham this summer.

The Englishman has racked up some very impressive numbers in the past few years but has no silverware to show for it. Kane may very well become the all-time top scorer in Premier League by the time he retires but all of it will be for nothing if he doesn’t have enough silverware to show for it.

Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea are keeping close tabs on the Harry Kane situation, and City are said to be the favorites to sign the 27-year-old.

Daily Star reports that City have got the best chance at landing the Englishman simply because Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy would prefer to sell his most prized asset to the Cityzens rather than rivals Manchester United or their immediate London neighbors in Chelsea.

Tottenham have finished this season without securing any silverware, again. This season hurt more than the previous ones because of the start that they had given themselves in the Premier League. Moreover, the Lillywhites were one of the favorites to lift the Europa League.

It is understood that Levy would be willing to listen to offers above the £100 million mark but does not want to sell his most prized asset to his immediate rivals.

While Kane is not interested in exploring options outside of England for now, it is clear that the 27-year-old wants to secure all the silverware in England first before moving out, if that is bound to happen.

Realistically speaking, Kane has got the best chance to win team trophies at City as compared to Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Cityzens got crowned the champions of England for the third time in the last four years, and the team’s future looks sorted.

The Sky Blues will be now hoping to land their maiden UEFA Champions League title when they take on Chelsea in the final this month.
