Harry Kane has been linked heavily with a move to Manchester City this summer. It is understood that a fee in the range of £120 million will be required to secure the services of the Englishman.

With Sergio Aguero set to leave England after a decade at City, the likes of Erling Haaland, Romelu Lukaku, and Harry Kane were the names rumored to take over Aguero’s goal-scoring duties at the Etihad stadium.

More from Man City Transfer Rumors

Erling Haaland to City was considered as a serious possibility but with the Dortmund striker said to prefer a move to Spain over England, the rumors have died down.

Ian Cheeseman understands that Harry Kane to Manchester City is a real possibility should a bid over £100 million for the 27-year-old be submitted to Tottenham.

Harry Kane, 27, has established himself as one of the top strikers in Europe and is the best English striker currently. With Aguero set to complete a move to Barcelona in the coming days, Kane will have the most number goals in the Premier League among active players.

It is no secret that the Cityzens are on the hunt for a new number nine this summer. While Pep Guardiola played without a striker in the XI for a majority of the season, it is highly unlikely that the likes of Ilkay Gundogan or Riyad Mahrez, or Bernardo Silva would display a similar goal-scoring touch next season as well.

Kane is an established marksman but the Englishman’s search for silverware continues.

With Manchester City said to be closely following the developments at the White Hart Lane regarding Kane’s future at the club, should City break the English record for Harry Kane?
