Harry Kane has been in the transfer rumors lately and that is because the Englishman has expressed his desire to leave Tottenham, as per reports. The 27-year-old has not handed an official transfer request to club chairman Daniel Levy but it is clear that he wants to move out of the White Hart Lane.
Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea have been heavily linked with a transfer involving the English striker.

More from Man City Transfer Rumors

Manchester City are said to be the favorites to land the Englishman as realistically speaking, Kane has got the best chance of winning silverware on a consistent basis if he decides to favor a move to the Etihad Stadium.

The Premier League champions have been on the hunt for a proper number nine as their record goal-scorer in Sergio Aguero will walk out as a free agent this summer and is linked with a move to Barcelona.

Erling Haaland was associated with a move to City but with reports suggesting that the 20-year-old favors a move to Spain has put a dent in City’s hopes to land the Borussia Dortmund star.

Chelsea seem to be the least favorites when it comes to the next probable destination for Harry Kane.

While a switch to rivals United is also a very good option for the 27-year-old, it is understood via Express that City are planning to outbid the Red Devils to seal the deal.

Harry Kane is expected to cost around £140 million as Daniel Levy is expected to play hardball due to his desire to not sell his most prized asset to immediate rivals. However, Kane has expressed his intentions to stay in England.

City are reported to be preparing an opening bid worth 120 million for the English superstar.

In an interview with former Manchester United player and legend Gary Neville, the 27-year-old mentioned that there is a conversation to be had with the Tottenham chairman.

Kane is also of the opinion that Levy would consider a sale if he is sure of getting a sum in the range of £100 million for Kane.

"“I think there is definitely a conversation to be had. It’s a moment where I have to reflect and have a conversation with the chairman.“I hope we have a good enough relationship. After 16 years, I hope that we can have an honest conversation.“I hope we have a good enough relationship. I’ve given the club… well, I’ve been there 16 years of my life. So, I hope that we can have a good, honest conversation and see where we are at in that aspect.“I don’t want to have come to the end of my career and have any regrets.“So, I want to be the best that I can be. I’ve said before, I’d never say that I’d stay at Spurs for the rest of my career. I’d never say that I would leave Spurs.“I still feel like I’ve still got almost another career to play. I’ve got another seven or eight years. I’m not rushing anything. I’m not desperate to do anything.Source: The Overlap"

Manchester City have been presented with a very good opportunity to land one of the best strikers in Europe. Kane, 27, is bound to have at least another 4-5 years of top-level football in him and with the player himself believing that he will not be worth £100 million in a season or two from now, City should consider signing him.

While some may argue that Haaland, 20, is a much better investment, Kane has got experience on his side and that makes him calculated but lethal.
