Manchester City continue to be heavily linked to Harry Kane and the speculation surrounding the Englishman’s future has grown a lot ever since reports emerged from the White Hart Lane stadium that the 27-year-old is looking for a way out.

More from Man City Transfer Rumors

Kane, 27, has established himself as one of the top marksmen in Europe and is well on his way to becoming a Premier League legend. With 165 goals, Kane is seventh on the list of all-time record goal-scorers in the Premier League.

As decorated as Kane is on the personal front, the 27-year-old hasn’t won a single trophy at Spurs and now believes that it is time to exit the Lillywhites to win team trophies.

Mirror reports that Kane has already communicated his desire to leave Spurs this summer to club chairman Daniel Levy and the 27-year-old is of the opinion that his best chance at winning silverware is at Manchester City, playing under Pep Guardiola.

Daniel Levy is expected to play hardball when it comes to negotiating the sale of one of his most prized assets. Tottenham don’t want to part ways with their premier striker but it seems that the club has not been left with a choice and but to let the player leave.

It is understood that Levy is not particularly a fan of selling Kane to an immediate rival. Having said that, it is highly unlikely that it would be easy for the Cityzens to make a bid for Harry Kane.

The likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a transfer involving the Englishman.

As it stands, Kane is in favor of a move to the Etihad Stadium and Manchester City are in the driver’s seat to sign the Tottenham striker.

With Erling Haaland said to favor a move to Spain, City have got a golden chance to secure a top-class signing in Harry Kane.

Kane is one of the very few players who can emulate Sergio Aguero’s feats for the Sky Blues and perhaps, even surpass the Argentine.
