Ederson

The truth is we probably did not need to play a goal keeper at all in this match. West Ham offered so little, not only were there few saves to make, but the ball seldom went down towards Ederson at all. So he never even got much chance to recycle it across the back.

Kyle Walker

Hoping he will have the chance to clear the South Stand at the Etihad Stadium with a shot before the season is out. Comfortable performance but not much more to add.

Nicolas Otamendi

No rash tackles. No slips. No slide tackles. One silky dribble. Looks a different player alongside Aymeric Laporte.

Aymeric Laporte

Played an hour and made us look much more solid. If we can add a dependable partner we will be brilliant again. Hopefully he will recover from his exertions pretty quickly as we need him in the next 2 games.

Benjamin Mendy

A solid game. Our best left back. Good crosses were made but not as accurately as we need them to be given our diminutive forward line. Left a gap behind him for Laporte to cover.
