Man City Square have been alerted to the talents of two Manchester City Youth Players by our friends at FFDTV Online.

Watching the youth teams at Manchester City has always been a pleasure but in recent years the quality of the talent on display has increased incredibly. Our friends at FFDTV oline have alerted us to two particular young players and having watched various videos we think it is worth bringing them to your attention as potential players of the future.

FFDTV are an interesting online academy who specialise in highlighting the talents of top level emerging stars and have played a role in alerting clubs to some of the best talent in recent years such as Jadon Sancho, Reiss Nelson, Callum Hudson-Odoi and others.

Originally they showcased the talents of street footballers and others who had fallen through the existing academy system but the success of some of their original finds has seen their work lauded.

More from Man City Square

The first player they highlight is Darko Gyabi an  incredibly talented 15 year old midfielder who has already played and scored at U18 level for Manchester City this season after he was signed in November 2018 at age 14 for a reported £300K (which could go on to rise to £1 million) – a considerable fee for a player of his age.

Gyabi impressed and was highly sought after at his previous club Millwall where Manchester City faced competition for him from Arsenal and Wolves and he was labelled as an ‘exceptional young player’ by the then Millwall manager Neil Harris.

Gyabi, from South London, has been likened to Paul Pogba due to his playing style and physical attributes, powerful running with the ball, dribbling and quick feet as well as impressive passing range and vision (some of which can be seen in the clips at FFDTV online at Youtube and Instagram).

In the FFDTV session with Darko he expresses his flair and confidence on the ball and demonstrates an awareness of others around him with some incredibly quick feet, impressive skills & flicks as well as a nutmeg at the end.

The second featured player is Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. Jamie is just  15, and is very highly rated with great ability and talent, excels in his age group and has huge potential. He plays at U16 and U18 already and has scored 11 & assisted 8 from the wing.

In the Youtube video with Jamie he demonstrates his quick feet, close control and ability to get away from defenders with some inventive & exceptional footwork (including a rainbow flick).

He is the latest player FFDTV have identified and worked with in their sessions as they look to showcase the next wave of exciting young talent and hope to inspire the next generation by doing so.
