Ederson

Quite a quiet game by his standards. Little he could have done about the goal by Vardy, as he closed the angle but was beaten by the perfect shot. Made one good save and rotated the ball well. One badly placed kick.

Kyle Walker

Good to have him back on this form. Both his pace and power were needed today and he linked well with the attack. Caught upfield for their goal but it was the lack of pace in the centre covering which was mostly at fault.

Nicolas Otamendi

A surprise selection but he was solid in his distribution and stuck to his task well. Held his position very well throughout to limit their space.

Player Rating 7

Fernandinho

Solid and commanding. Read the game well and won every header despite being 3 foot shorter than the Leicester team. Well beaten for pace in a foot race with Jamie Vardy but that should not ne a stick to beat him with.

Player Rating 7

Benjamin Mendy

Powerful and full of movement. This showing was back up to the levels on display before his injury woes began. Crossing was excellent and made more of the correct choices both with and without the ball.
