Oxford 1 Manchester City 3 : Player Ratings

The Defence
Claudio Bravo
There were a couple of useful saves at point blank distance to deny Oxford and keep City in the game. His distribution under pressure and passing accuracy was probably as high as any outfield player during the match.

Joao Cancelo
Going forwards, particularly in the second half he seemed to pose a real threat. However, these forays left City exposed and him hopelessly out of position. A better opposition would have punished City in these circumstances. A goal and a couple of other chances made this his best performance in a City shirt.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis
What I like is the commitment. A really solid display where he read the game well and kept the physically imposing strike force at bay. He was disciplined and switched on bar the goal, where he was caught slightly flat footed by their quick thinking.

Eric Garcia
Another slick performance from Garcia who I believe should probably be starting in the League. He has taken every chance he has been given and delivered where necessary. Is it me, or has he actually grown too?

Angelino
On the plus side his crossing came off on one occasion. Defensively though he was a liability at times, even with the support of Zinchenko he seemed adrift of his team mates.
