Man City Square are pleased to announce that Manchester City have two players in the September PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month Awards.

Manchester City have had a good month in the Premier League during which we have seen some excellent individual performances by certain key players. In recognition of this we are delighted to announce that two Manchester City players have been shortlisted for the prestigious Player of the Month Awards.

The shortlist comprises just 6 players from across the Premier League and to have two nominations is a fantastic honour for Manchester City.

First up for the award is our Kev, the ginger Prince himself – Kevin De Bruyne. During September Kevin was on top form in the Premier League and he scored 1 goal and assisted a further 3 times. His pinpoint whipped crosses caused havoc for defences and he appeared to be back to his very best. His form certainly made us at Man City Square consider him as our Player of the Month.

Secondly though we have the wonderful Riyad Mahrez who ran De Bruyne a very close second in our own award. Mahrez has started this season in the best form of his Manchester City career. In the Premier League during September, Riyad notched two important goals and even grabbed an assist!

Our two players are up against Aubameyang, Matip, Pereira and Wilson. Knowing how some of those fans love to enter a poll, it may be time for Manchester City fans to mobilise to get this award to City, because to be frank – our players have been the best in the League this month.

This particular award though is of real importance to us as fans because it is voted for by the fans. So, please make sure your vote counts and follow this link to vote for one of our two players!

Let’s all do this so that we can help our player win this award. The voting is open NOW and runs until 8AM on 7th October, so the window is not open for long – so don’t delay! Get voting now!
