Manchester City showed their attacking intent within seconds of the kick off against Brighton in the Premier League.
Throughout the match there were flashes of excellence from Manchester City as they marauded in packs, running into space and dismantling the carefully rehearsed defensive formation practised by brighton all week.
Yet there were also moments of sloppy careless passing and as the game wore on a number of players looked quite leggy, happier to pass the ball slowly than run. Of course what all of this means is that at some point City will fully click into gear and destroy a team.
If that happens then it could eclipse the 9:0 win against Burton last season.
