Manchester City dominated the match against Tottenham in all the key battle areas yet somehow only ended up drawing.
For all the swagger and breathtaking attacking play exhibited by Manchester City the real story is there was a failure to turn that superiority into a win. Despite notching up some 30 attempts on target we only scored twice, leaving our rearguard exposed the longer the situation remained.
Whereas Spurs, who came to secure a draw, would be content with scoring both of their attempts on target. Quite how this result slipped away was not just down to the poor refereeing and VAR.
It is not a new phenomenon as a City fan to watch our Guardiola led team miss chance after chance. Of course Guardiola coaches the players to get into the positions, and once there it is down to them, as highly paid professionals to put the ball into the net.

But maybe some of them need some shooting practice because there were plenty of clear cut chances to put this game to bed which were missed.
So Man City Square turn our attention to look at the individual player performances in this game to try and highlight who could have done more. We also do our best to select a Man of the Match.
