Scored the overhead kick in that Final Colin Bell missed out on. Dennis Tueart takes my top spot over King Colin just because he scored the winning goal in a Final. Of course Bell scored in a Final also, but was on the losing side in that case.

Unlike Bell though, ten of his League Cup goals came in two seasons. In 1978 he left for the NASL and New York Cosmos before returning to Manchester. Adding the final eight goals over the next four seasons.

Eight goals came in that 1976 winning campaign, with a hat-trick in the second round, second replay against Norwich. His last goal in the competition would come in the form of a penalty in a 1-1 draw with Southampton.

The replay ended with a 4-0 defeat away on the coast. That seasons FA Cup ended a similar way after being knocked out by Brighton by the same scoreline.
