Palermo’s 21 year old Argentine forward Paulo Dybala has spoken of his dream transfer moves.

During a recent interview, Dybala stated that Manchester City and Barcelona are the two clubs that he wishes to play for one day.

Paulo Dybala is one of the most sought after young players at the moment, and his recent interview must have come as a bit of a blow to Manchester United who thought that they would be able to pick him up in the Summer.

"When I play with the Playstation, I always choose Barcelona or Manchester City, I dream to play one day with one of those clubs"

With 11 goals in 21 appearances, along with 6 assists, he is certainly making an impact in Serie A with Palermo. Dybala is frequently compared with Manchester City’s own Sergio Aguero, and is very comfortable with the ball at his feet.

If you were to find a fault with the young striker it would be that he is occasionally let down by his lack of physicality. This is frequently used as a stick to beat more technical players with coming into the Premier League, and it is not necessarily a hard and fast rule that players coming into the Premier League need to be overly strong. It is also important to bear in mind that Paulo Dybala is only 21 and physicality is something that can be gained and worked upon as required.

More from Man City Square

It’s all well and good Paulo Dybala expressing his desire to play for Manchester City, the big issue is that he will cost north of 30 million pounds, to a team that at the moment has four forwards. Dybala looks certain to move this summer, having fallen out with officials at Palermo and turning down a contract extension, but the move may come at the wrong time for Manchester City.

Okay, his choice of destination may be influenced by his experiences with Fifa but it also a sign of the times that Manchester City can attract the attentions of the best and brightest ahead of other more established “big names”.
