Manchester City are heading for a break from their fixture list as the latest international break instalment arrives for the women.

Manchester City have played a total of nine games so far; five in the Women's Super League and four in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

In the League, The Cityzens have drawn once, which came as a 2-2 result with Arsenal on matchday one. Besides that, they achieved only victories (1-0 vs Brighton, 2-0 vs west ham, 2-1 vs Aston Villa and 2-1 vs Liverpool)

While in the Champions League, City accumlated eight goals in a two-legged fixture against Paris FC and comfortably secured qualification for this season's group stage.

Man City have faced two of their group D opponents thus far, proving quite the statement when beating current defending winners Barcelona 2-0, with goals coming from Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw and Naomi Leyzell. On matchday two, a dramatic game saw City go 2-1 behind by the 55th minute to Hammarby. Aoba Fujino added to Alanna Kennedy's goal and equalised the scoreline to 2-2. Then with 10 minutes before the 90, Mary Fowler scored the winner for the Sky Blues and secured three points to put City top of the group.

So, overall we can see that Manchester City have made a positive start to the 24/25 campaign and will aim to continue this run when they return from duties with their nations.
