As Manchester City prepare for their third match in the Women's Super League, they also have another commitment upcoming midweek in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
After coming second in the Women's Super League last season, they gained themselves a qualifying spot in the 24/25 Champions League.
The Cityzens entered the Champions League during the second round of qualifying matches and were drawn against last year's surprise team Paris FC, who made quite the statement after eliminating Wolfsburg and Arsenal to book their spot in the group stage.
However, despite the threat that the opponent possessed, Manchester Coty breezed past Paris FC with an 8-0 aggregate to confirm their place in this season's Champions League.
Manchester City's Champions League group
Group D: Manchester City, Barcelona, St Polten, Hammarby
While the men's version of the UEFA Champions League group stage has been scrapped and been turned into a new system called 'The League Phase', the women's edition of the competition remains with the same format.
Definitely not the toughest group City could have ended up with, but the presence of current champions Barcelona is a noticeably huge one and will be quite the test for Man City to go through.
Elsewhere, Man City's English opponents Chelsea have been drawn into a group along with Bayern and Juventus. At the same time, Chelsea meet Real Madrid for the third group stage in a row, and French giants Lyon take on Wolfsburg, Roma and Galatasaray.
