The UEFA Champions League second legs of the playoff round arrive this week, with eight clubs set to book their place in the last 16, while the other eight find themselves eliminated from the competition.
Manchester City finished the weekend with a 4-0 victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League, a huge win for the Cityzens who have struggled against the biggest sides this season. Now, they shift focus to their monumental second leg against Real Madrid and will need to produce something incredible in order to remain in Europe.
The first leg of this tie saw Manchester City come so close to achieving a win, as an Erling Haaland brace kept them 2-1 in front all the way up till the 86th minute. The equaliser fell for Madrid in that minute, making it 2-2 but then, in the added time of the 90th minute, Jude Bellingham snatched the game away from Man City.
A 3-2 aggregate must be turned around from the Sky Blues, this will be a significant assignment for them but in the UCL, we all know we can expect the unexpected until the final whistle.
