The deal to bring Enzo Fernandez to the Etihad Stadium is set to be completed. There are many news outlets reporting a £125 million deal has been agreed between Man City and Chelsea and the Argentinian should sign on the dotted line tonight.
Look, I'm not his greatest fan. It's rare we sign a player who comes with the baggage Fernandez does. City fans are split on this signing, too. @CityBlue on X sums up my feelings on the matter:

Ilyman Ndiaye is said to be close to completing a move to City. Now this is a player I can't wait to see in a City blue shirt. I've loved watching him for Everton. What an attacking line up we can choose from! Ndiaye, Cherki, Semenyo, Foden, Doku, HAALAND! No one in the EPL comes close to the quality of options City has.
A midfield three of Fernandez, Anderson and Bouaddi? Name me a better midfield in world soccer right now.
Behind we've got Guehi, Dias, Gvardiol, three of the best central defenders in the world. O'Reilly left, Khusanov right. Donnarumma in goal. Pick any 11 out of that lot and you've got an EPL-winning team.
I was confident in the Blues winning the EPL this year, but I wouldn't have been too worried if we didn't. This is the end of one era and the beginning of another. It will take time to gel. It will take time for Maresca to fully get his ideas across. But what a start to the Premier League season we've had (I'm conveniently choosing to forget about the Community Shield) and WHAT A SQUAD!
