The draw for the second round of Champions League qualifiers has been made and for Manchester City, their journey in the competition is set to get underway with a huge task against French side Paris FC.
Manchester City will be able to play European football next season, after ending the women's Super League in second place last time around. As second place does not come with official qualification for the group stage, Man City will undergo a two-legged tie against Paris FC, who certainly made a mark during the qualification stage last year.
Paris FC qualified for the group stage last year after a shocking bunch of results during qualifications, not only did they eliminate the 22/23 runners-up Wolfsburg, but they also surpassed fellow English side Arsenal to book their place.
It's very safe to say that Man City do not have an easy opponent standing in their way of Champions League football, however, the same goes for Paris FC, who will certainly know that they will have to fight until the very end to come out triumphant against this Man City side.

With the Women's Super League season set to start in a few weeks, Man City would definitely love the confidence boost knowing they could be competing for the Champions League title.
But, the task incoming will be far from simple and after losing out to other French club PSG only a few weeks ago, failing to score a goal against them or even in the prior game with Leicester City; Man City will require improvements when going into these fixtures if they are to go beyond and make their European journey last a little longer.
