Manchester City were 4-0 winners over Newcastle United during the latest Premier League weekend, and winter recruit Omar Marmoush did not fail to impress as he bagged himself a hat-trick.
Manchester City's meeting with Newcastle United was one they needed to win as they continue to battle for a top-four spot. And, after Chelsea were beaten 3-0 by Brighton and Hove Albion, a win for City would take them above the Blues and on to fourth place.
A surprisingly very comfortable game for Manchester City, who easily swept aside the Magpies to claim their three points and finish the weekend on fourth.
However, the biggest highlight of this match was Omar Marmoush, who didn't just score his first goal for the Sky Blues but also got himself a hat-trick in the first half. His journey at Man City has well and truly gotten off to a great start, as Marmoush brings the same breathtaking accuracy and precision as he had in Frankfurt.
Marmoush helped City gain the victory with his three goals, while James McAtee added the fourth. Supporters of the club were overjoyed to see their new striker make his mark, as was the player himself.
