Manchester City arrive in February 2025 with some huge clashes ahead of them in three different competitions.
January saw Manchester City face a mixture of results: from losing 4-2 to their rivals Manchester United in the Women's Super League to beating Salford in the FA Cup and also surpassing United 2-1 in the League Cup to advance to the semi-final.
Now, they have four vital fixtures ahead of them and could be defining of their how their season ends.
Manchester City Women's February schedule
(All times are based in the UK time zone)
Manchester City vs Arsenal - Sunday, 2nd at 12:00 (WSL)
Arsenal vs Manchester City - Thursday, 6th at 19:00 (FA League Cup semi-final)
Manchester City vs Leicester City - Sunday, 9th at 14:00 (FA Cup)
Manchester City vs Liverpool - Sunday, the 16th at 18:45 (WSL)
Four massive clashes are to take place during this month. Starting off with Arsenal on the first Sunday of the month, City will be hoping to surpass them in order to gain three very-important points to add to the table.
Their campgain in the WSL isn't going how they'd had hoped when the season began; as they are currently third and barely comfortable in the top three. Rivals Man United are two points ahead of them and leaders Chelsea are nine ahead. Arsenal are on fourth, just one point behind the Cityzens.
After taking on the Gunners in the WSL, a few days later they will meet them again but this time in the FA League Cup semi-final. A win in this competition would increase Manchester City's chances of attaining silverware this season, as their hopes in the WSL seem pretty much over.
Then, it will be another cup competition as the FA Cup arrives. Man City will be taking on Leicester City in the fifth round.
To round off the month, it's back to the Women's Super League: where we'll see City take on Liverpool. When these two sides play, it's never short of entertainment and drama, and we can expect the same when they meet again in a few weeks.
