Manchester City are looking to keep their treble dream alive this weekend when they face Southampton at Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday. Pep Guardiola's men have been in superb form of late, and thanks to last weekend's momentous win over Arsenal, there is now a dream of a treble.

City have already wrapped up the Carabao Cup, while they are top of the Premier League - albeit only on goals scored - and have a very good chance of at least reaching the FA Cup final as they prepare to face Championship high flyers Southampton on Saturday.

Southampton once looked as though they would have nothing to play for this season, but a superb run of form has seen them surge into the play-offs and become nailed-on to extend their season.

The Saints are now fourt, three points off second place having played a game more, but more importantly, six points ahead of seventh place. That turnaround is thanks to 20 games unbeaten, and you have to go back to January 21 to find their last defeat, and that run includes a cup upset win over Arsenal in the last round.

Ahead of the FA Cup semi-final clash, we have rounded up the latest injury news surrounding both sides.

Jack Stephens - Doubt

Stephens is battling a calf injury he picked up in the warm-up last time out. Tonda Eckert said: "I just heard before the game that he struggled a little bit with his calf towards the end of the warm-up, so we made a late change.”

Alex McCarthy - Out

McCarthy won't be back from his wrist injury until next month.

Mads Roerslev - Out

Roerslev is battling a longer term knee issue.

Flynn Downes - Out (Suspended)

Downes remains suspended following a recent red card.

Josko Gvardiol - Out

Gvardiol is likely to return this season, but he is not going to be ready yet. The last update came a couple of weeks ago when Guardiola said the defender is 'not close'.

Ruben Dias - Out

It's a similar situation with Dias, who is not going to return until next month.

Rodri - Out

Guardiola has confirmed that he won't be risking Rodri here, with the midfielder having limped off against Arsenal. The City boss said: "He's better. Not taking risks. He won't play. I don't know if he will be back [before the Everton game]. Hopefully, but we don't want to take risks because if he is injured he won't be around in the last few games which is so important."
