Unless a change happens before the match, Haaland is expected to start and play against Denmark. Since this is a group-stage match in the UEFA Nations League, there is some added importance, so Haaland's presence will be needed.
For the Danes, midfielder Victor Froholdt is expected to play. This is something for City fans to watch because Froholdt has been linked to Enzo Maresca's squad in recent transfer rumors. The 20-year-old currently plays for Porto, whom City recently defeated in Champions League play.

Plus, and let's be real, he became even more of a global superstar as he was able to show his personality while helping sell the event.
Interestingly, he hasn't scored in two friendlies this year. He played 133 minutes in those two matches.
During Norway's UEFA Nations League play in 2024/25, Haaland scored seven goals in six matches. Haaland has only faced Denmark once, and that was a friendly in 2024. Norway lost 3-1, but Haaland scored his team's only goal.
