Can Manchester City continue their perfect start to this Women's Super League title defence? Before this, the Citizens enjoyed victories over Birmingham City and Aston Villa, scoring 11 goals in total across their three WSL matches so far. Then, on Tuesday night, Man City fought back from 2-0 down to earn a draw with Bayern Munich in their Champions League opener.
Things were not looking great when Kerstin Casparij scored an own goal on the half hour mark at Sportpark Unterhaching. Nevertheless, Beth Mead halved the deficit on the cusp of half time, before Carlotta Wamser fired home a late equaliser. This week coming up, Jeglertz's side host Real Madrid in Europe and then Arsenal in the WSL, two huge games, so will they avoid a slip up here?
As for Charlton Athletic, this is their first season back in England's top division since 2008. To get here, in May, following a goalless draw, the Addicks beat Leicester City in a penalty shootout, thereby securing promotion into the WSL and sending the Foxes down in their place.
However, since then, Karen Hills' side have been handed something of a reality check.
