2. City back into second

At long last, City have overtaken Leicester for outright second spot in the Premier League. While Liverpool remains an unrealistic expectation, today’s win showed that City are still capable of some fantastic football. When players such as Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sané return to the fold, there is no reason to believe this team can’t contend to win silverware in every other competition this season.
