KDB and Merlin!

Most sides in the Premier League, and most of the main European leagues would love to have either one of these guys in their side. We have both, and they work well together. It is not a case of having to bench one in order to play the other, they compliment each other style.

Both puppet masters in different ways. De Bruyne can whip in a ball into the path of an attacker. In behind the defence between goalkeeper and defenders means a tap in for the likes of Gabriel and Raheem.

David is a master of mystery and wonder. Able to see a pass when he isn’t even looking in that direction, Merlin can pick out runs I don’t even see when watching the replay! Quick feet and short one twos have defenders chasing their tails and wondering what day it is on most occasions.

Add to that the fact that both can score goals, and you have a fantastic base just behind the strikers. Look no further than KDB’s strike for a potential goal of the season contender to see what he is capable of.

For Silva, who opened the scoring today, its more close passing to get into that sweet area. Even pushing Raheem Sterling ahead of him to create that space the guy is just on another planet.
