Dominant Performance:

Over 1,000 passes attempted in the game today with 83% possession and a 5-0 scoreline. It wasn’t clear, with the League done, whether City would be on vacation already. The fact was it was a City ready to party which met Swansea on Sunday afternoon.

No Aguero, no Sane, no Otamendi or Kyle Walker and yet we restricted the Swans to just a single shot on goal. Yes they are struggling at the wrong end of the league, but just ask United fans if that means anything.

Last weekend they lost at Old Trafford to a side who had only won three times all season. Not sure if you heard that score but the Baggies did win against Manchester United a week ago.

Aside from the statistics though City were dominant in every aspect of play. Raheem was running wherever he wanted while three defenders picked up on Gabby Jesus. KDB and Silva pulled strings as they have done all season, but with even more ease than usual. There was a swagger and confidence in this performance, and that was beautiful to see.
