#8 – First Manchester Derby goes to Pep

Both managers probably would have preferred more time before their first derby. Just four matches into the season Pep would battle Mourinho once again. With new managers, new signings and so early in the year, it didn’t have as much build up as it might have later in the year.

Kevin De Bruyne and Kelechi both scored in the first half before Zlatan knocked one back for United. The score held the same through the second half and City won the season’s first derby match. Pep winning at Old Trafford was a perfect way to begin his chapter in the long feud.
