Left Back: Jordi Alba

The left back position was one of the easiest to decide on for this combined XI, Jordi Alba far and away outshines City’s current options at left-back. While small in stature, Alba is known for his immense speed, and ability to continue running all game.

Compared to Gael Clichy and Aleks Kolarov, Barcelona takes this position tidily. After recently suffering a minor thigh injury, Barcelona will certainly hope that Alba is in full force in the match tomorrow as he will certainly be a factor against City’s attackers.
