Joe Hart’s exit saw City dipping into the transfer market for a keeper suitable for Pep’s famous “sweeper” role. 33 year-old Chilean Claudio Bravo arrives in a £15.4 million deal from Barcelona, and will slot straight in as first choice between the sticks.

Bravo has an impressive record, taking home 8 trophies in 2 seasons at Barcelona. Additionally, he captained Chile to Copa America success during the summer.

Also sporting one of the best clean sheet records in La Liga, the shotstopper is a definite upgrade on Hart, no matter how much the fans may protest his departure.
