A first start was handed to the Argentine under Pep Guardiola’s reign away in Romania and he did not let his boss down. Very solid in defence, very rarely let anything past and if anything did get past, it was certainly as difficult as Zaba could make it. Also, his adaptation to Guardiola’s tactics of ‘tucked in’ full back was impressive and he also played the decisive pass for Kolarov to win the second penalty.
