The Women’s Super League returned last week, where six matches took place to get the new season underway.
Now, the second match weekend has arrived, and all sides will be back in action. While some will be hoping to get their first points on the table, others will be aiming to build on the starts they’ve made.
The beginning batch of matches included results such as Manchester City’s 2-1 defeat to title holders Chelsea, Arsenal’s 4-1 win over newly promoted side London City Lionesses, a Merseyside derby that saw Everton overcome Liverpool with a 4-1 victory, and also, Aston Villa and Brighton settled for a draw.
