The Women’s Super League’s twelfth match weekend was displayed, where all sides attempted to get themselves victories.
Going into the first games of the year in the WSL, Manchester City were leading the way with a gap against Chelsea. Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham were nearby one another, and also to Chelsea, but their title chances were decreased due to the edge for the Cityzens.
The title quest does seem as though it’s a battle between Manchester City and Chelsea. For Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham, they’ll be aiming to gain top three placements.
Liverpool and West ham are currently fighting to avoid relegation, and while Everton and Leicester City aren't far off, their safety is more likely.
Among the matches, there was Arsenal vs Manchester United, Manchester City vs Everton, and Brighton vs Aston Villa.
While Manchester City do have a healthy lead, there is still time to go in the Women's Super League. But if Man City can remain on form, then they could be heading for league success. Though Chelsea cannot be counted out yet. They’ll have to do everything they can to keep up with the Sky Blues in this title race, and despite relying on their opponent’s results, they’ll be aiming to get their own task done, which is getting wins.
The next fixtures will be on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th. There will be a little break due to FA Cup participation. This will be another competition where these teams will be looking to claim an honour.
