The Women’s Super League is ready for its match weekend three, as we look ahead to six more fixtures.
The Women’s Super League’s 12 clubs are getting prepared to take on their latest task.
Last time around, we saw the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United remain with positive displays, while elsewhere, Manchester City and Leicester City gained their first points after securing wins.
In doing so, Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Brighton and Leicester City’s 1-0 result against Liverpool got them their first points to add to their names.
Elsewhere, Liverpool’s loss meant they remain without any points just yet, and newly promoted side London sit at the bottom of the table.
However, despite a loss for Everton, who fell short to Tottenham, they remain on fifth thanks to their Merseyside derby win, and Brighton and Aston Villa, who also suffered losses, remain in safe spots with a point each.
And, Chelsea were 3-1 winners over Aston Villa, Arsenal got a big 5-1 victory against West ham, and Manchester City were comfortable 5-1 winners after an encounter with London.
The league is back this weekend, where another six matches will feature the 12 clubs. As the games go on, the more important every single outcome becomes for every participant.
