Going into this match weekend, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal were looking to keep up with leaders Chelsea, who themselves were looking to remain as WSL leaders. Elsewhere, London, Aston Villa, and Leicester City would have been aiming to add more positive results.
Among the fixtures, there was Chelsea vs London, Brighton taking on Manchester United, Aston Villa vs Everton, and Arsenal meeting Leciester.
With the standings so close in the Women’s Super League, this makes every game vital for each side, especially the ones who are currently in a place that makes them able to compete for the WSL title.
